Professional Experience

Dr. Eleftheria Mitsakou is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a space physicist and received her BSc in Physics and her MSc in Basic Physics with specialization in Astronomy-Astrophysics-Mechanics from the NKUA. In 2014, she defended her thesis titled “Study of solar eruptive phenomena using in-situ data from spacecraft and ground stations”, at the NKUA.

Research Interests

Her interests lie in the field of Space Weather and especially Solar Radio Bursts and Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections.
